Problem: I want to learn a language. To really learn a language, I need to go to another country to be totally immersed. But that’s not always an option. Existing programs are boring as crap – “white horse, red flower”. I want to learn about stuff. So what about reading? Reading is frustrating: everything is either too simple or too hard.
Solution: A site that lets people write stories with limited, but gradually expanding vocabulary, on any subject. This way people can read about anything in a way that is comfortable while securing intuitive understanding of the words that are being used. Imagine reading about WWII, porn, or cooking such that you know that every next chapter will only introduce 20 new words. That would be awesome.
